Music is invaluable to human culture. It allows people to connect with each other and with themselves to discover deeper meanings of human emotions and interactions. Martin Luther recognized the power of music saying... "Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise. The gift of language combined with the gift of song was given to man that he should proclaim the Word of God through Music."

Carolyn Ross

My mission is to be a healthy individual and confident music educator. I want to live my life with a strong moral integrity. It is my hope that I can motivate youth choir members to cultivate and encourage positive relationships that will allow them to work together in an enviroment where everyone can grow in their knowledge about the church and their love of music. My goal is to provide a safe space where everyone can grow and thrive.

Christian music remains a huge part of my life. Playing for choirs and services is an honor and a calling. Wednesday night choir rehearsal, when we have so much fun, and Sunday services are the highlights of my every week. My worship service philosophy: “Listen, blend, follow, but lead when necessary.”

"Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can." - John Wesley

Singing the hymns with the congregation and contributing to the special music is a joy. To me each piece of music is a wee sermon served with the sweetness of melody.
